Learning Space
The key note of our space design is Visibility, Accessibility, Mobility.
It nurtures Reflection, experimentation-exploration (Rigour) and the architecture supports Learning, ethos of transparency, community feeling, easy mobility and accessibility. Riverside School won a Citation award for it's architecture from Designshare.com which is a very respected school design firm at Michigan, USA.
Key Stage-1 space houses the tiniest members of the Riverside community – therefore, wash basins, water taps, seating in class, their library etc are designed keeping in mind their size and abilities of 2 ½ to 7 year olds.
Keystage 2 and 3 folks are older, bigger, more able, require privacy, autonomy, therefore, their space provides plenty of opportunities for group learning, self expressions, screening, viewing, making learning visible.
The Open Stage is visible from anywhere in the building so the whole school and casual visitors can see what is going on. The office glass walls enable visitors and staff to easily claim attention of the Director or our admin staff.

Quotable Quotes |
|
|
One piece of log creates a small fire, adequate to warm you up, add just a few more pieces to blast an immense bonfire, large enough to warm up your entire circle of friends; needless to say that individuality counts but team work dynamites.
